Peter Pinkham has long been active in the arts and the business life of his community of North Conway New Hampshire. He began working at the Eastern Slope Inn in 1957. Together with partners, he purchased the inn in 1959, running it until 1971 after which he founded his real estate company, Pinkham Real Estate.
An avid theater enthusiast along with his second wife, fellow Realtor/business partner Linda Pinkham, Pinkham has written six plays, all of them musicals, with four of them musical comedies, most notably 1980’s Resort, penned for the company Pinkham founded, the Resort Players. Today, his wife Linda is president of the professional Mt. Washington Valley Theatre Company, of which Pinkham is a longtime patron.
Peter Pinkham has served as president of a number of New Hampshire state and local organizations and as selectman and moderator of the town of Conway. He has been a director of Boston and Conway banks and Mt. Washington Valley ski areas. He is the founder of freestyle skiing competitions.
The Pinkhams reside in North Conway New Hampshire.
